a Midwest maker, dreamer, and doer—living a creative life rooted in purpose, resilience, and handmade beauty. Whether I'm building something with my own two hands, tending to the garden, or crafting cookies and cozy spaces, I believe in the magic of slow living and making everyday moments meaningful.

After navigating deep loss of my oldest daughter, Emily, and stepping into the unexpected role of raising my granddaughter from my youngest daughter, I’ve found healing through creativity, nature, and community. Through my projects and passions, I hope to inspire others to follow their own handmade dreams—no matter the season of life.

Welcome, I'm Jody

Whether I'm selling homes as a Realtor or working in my dahlia garden, I try to approach each moment and interaction with presence, determination, and intention. I believe in the importance to pause, reflect, and speak from your heart — whether you’re celebrating a milestone, navigating motherhood, or passing on your family stories.

Storytelling can be accomplished in different ways. Each YouTube video I post is created not just for this day, but for the years ahead—for my family and you. They are for remembering the seasons and moments of laughter, fun and the learning along the way. Videos are a way to impart experience and inspire others. I encourage you to think about creating your own YouTube channel for preserving your precious memories and helping others. I would appreciate it if you would support and SUBSCRIBE to my channel.

A thoughtful approach to timeless storytelling

Have a story to tell? I’d love to hear it. Let’s begin with a simple note.

"Sometimes reality is too complex. Stories give it form."
